Evalgator at HRworks’ 12th Annual HR Conference & Expo

The 12th annual HR Conference and Expo held on September 13, 2023 at Cape Town brought together HR leaders and professionals from all over the world. The event featured speakers including Johnny Goldberg, Chairman of Global Business Solutions, Dr Mark Bussin, Chairman of 21st Century, Lauren Davis, Clinical Psychologist, Business Coach, and Mental Health Activist, Ilhaam van der Schyff, Head of Talent Acquisition & Mobility at Absa Group, and Themba Chakela, Chief People Officer at BlueSky among several other dignitaries.

Highlights from HRworks’ 12th Annual HR Conference & Expo

Evalgator was a Silver Sponsor for this conference. We were able to showcase our solutions and receive overwhelming positive feedback from the audience. Our team had the opportunity to interact with some of the leading HR personalities who attended the conference. Our booth was visited by over 60 delegates. This included Adria Bulpitt, MD at HRworks; Ilhaam van der Schyff, Head of Talent Acquisition & Mobility at Absa Group; Renier van Coller, General Manager People at Afrimat; Petulia Williamson, Head of Human Resources at Zeitz MOCAA; and the recruitment team of Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages. 

A contest run by us garnered a lot of interest. Michelle Bedford-Shaw, Partner, Jack Hammer and Loren Cupido, People Management Officer, Afrimat won the contest and were rewarded with exciting prizes.

Takeaways from the event

HRworks’ 12th Annual HR Conference & Expo was an exciting opportunity for Team Evalgator to connect with a wider audience as it was our first event outside India. The event gave us a comprehensive overview of the HR landscape of the region and how Evalgator can make an impact there.
